Ever see someone walking down the street wearing sandals, and their heel is way off to one side or the other? Those sandals don't fit right. There are only three points of contact keeping your sandals on your feet - one between your toes and two for the side straps. If any of those three points are off, or if any of the lengths are wrong, they aren't going to fit.

We build our sandals using a last, or foot shape, on every pair. We place the straps in the right place at the right lengths, every time. It's standardized so it's consistent and you get the right fit every time. The arch is placed in the same place, at the same height, every time, so you get the support your foot needs. After all, we think sandals should be easy, and here's nothing easy about sandals that don't fit right.

Our woven straps aren't your typical flat straps, either. Ours are woven like a tube, making for a softer, more padded feel on your foot. It's a more difficult, more expensive process, but it makes for a better sandal.

The combination of materials we use in our footbeds is unique to Vere. It's an evolution of the traditional way of thinking, using a multi-density layered footbed to provide a combination of comfort, support, and durability that just can't be accomplished with a single layer. Soft where you want it so it breaks in easy, durable so it lasts and lasts, and supportive where it matters most.
